Custom Pet Portraits & Ornaments

At Custom Wood Pet Portraits (CWPP), every pet portrait and ornament is individually created and customized specifically for you. Because each piece is a custom work of art, our cancellation and refund policy differs from that of standard, non-custom products.

1. Custom Order & Design Approval

Your pet's portrait begins with the photographs and customization information you provide.

After receiving your photos, we carefully review them and create a proposed portrait design based on the images and information provided. The proposed design will be sent to you for review and approval before the final wood portrait creation begins.

Production of your custom wood portrait will not begin until you have reviewed and approved the proposed design.

Once you approve the design, the order moves into the custom creation process.

2. Cancellations

You may request to cancel your order before the custom portrait creation process begins.

Once you have approved your portrait design and production has begun, the order is considered a custom work in progress and is generally non-cancellable and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where the finished product is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

If you need to make a change to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable changes before production begins.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

We carefully inspect and package each order before shipment. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can review the issue and determine the appropriate solution.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide clear photographs showing:

·       The artwork and any visible damage or defect

·       The packaging, particularly if it was damaged during shipping

·       The shipping label, if applicable

Once we receive and review the requested information, we will assess the situation and determine an appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, correction, or partial refund.

4. Customer-Provided Photos & Customization Information

Because each portrait is created from customer-provided photographs, customers are responsible for providing clear, suitable images and accurate customization instructions.

The quality, lighting, angle, resolution, and visibility of your pet in the photographs can affect the final artistic result.

Please carefully review the photographs and customization information you provide before submitting them.

5. Customer Approval of the Portrait Design

Customer approval is an important part of the CWPP creative process.

Before production begins, we will provide a proposed portrait design based on the photographs and information you submitted. You will have an opportunity to review the design and provide your approval.

Once you approve the proposed design, we begin transforming the approved design into your handcrafted wood portrait.

Because the artwork is custom-made based on the approved design, changes requested after production has begun may not be possible.

6. If You Are Unhappy With Your Finished Portrait

We put considerable care into creating each portrait and make every reasonable effort to follow the approved design and your customization instructions.

Because each portrait is individually handcrafted and created specifically for you, a change of mind or personal preference regarding the artistic result does not, by itself, qualify for a refund once production has begun.

However, if you believe your order is materially different from the approved design, defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photographs and details of the issue so we can review it and determine an appropriate resolution.

We carefully review each order, communicate with customers throughout the design process, and make every reasonable effort to create artwork that reflects the approved design and requested specifications.

By placing a custom order with Custom Wood Pet Portraits, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this cancellation and refund policy.
